Lahore campus has organized FAST Sports challange

Fast sports Challenge has a history of bringing together sports personnel from all over Pakistan and being one of the most competitive sports forums of the country on 25th & 26th March 2016. This year's sports Challenge was no less, with over 500 participants and 11 sports, the executive body did justice to the legacy of the mega event. With sponsors like Tetra Pak, Monark , Mindravel interactive, the sports society was well prepared for the massive crowd.

Day 1 started with the registrations and preliminary rounds of each sports and tasty food stalls were set up like Menhattan Bites, Dunkin Donuts, Mini Treats and a special appearance by The Food Truck. Day 2 moved towards a few tougher matches as teams approached the quarter finals and the competition just kept getting tougher. The evening of the second day was celebrated by an amazing performance by Aima Baig, which was highly appreciated by a full auditorium, lots of hoots and a loud round of applause. Day 3 had the university grounds filled, as everyone watched an amazing show of talent in the semi finals and finals of all games. As an unfortunate event happened, the leading body enhanced security measures and held the closing ceremony as soon as possible. At the closing ceremony, winners were given trophies , Medals and shields. Our worthy sponsors and guests were also awarded with tokens of appreciations. Warm and delicious food was served subsequently.

This year's sports fest hosted a new sport, throw ball to inculcate the favourite games of school kids and the executive body decided on allowing Fast's female sports women to referee matches as well. A lot of effort from the sports society and great directions from the event head leads to the holistic success of Fast Sports Challenge 2016.
