FAST-NU inks accord with Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

FAST-NU and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) have entered into an alliance to provide opportunities to graduating students of BS Accounting & Finance to pursue for globally recognized professional education – ACCA. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed at the Lahore Campus on February 23, 2015. The MoU was signed by Stephen Heathcote, Executive Director Markets, ACCA, and Dr. Anjum Ali, Acting Director, FAST-NU, Lahore campus.

Stuart Dunlop, Regional Director MENASA, ACCA, Sajjeed Aslam, Head of ACCA Pakistan, Raymond Jack, Executive Director Finance and Operations, ACCA, heads of departments and faculty members from FAST School of Management were also present in the ceremony.

According to this collaboration, ACCA will organize career guidance seminars for the students of FAST-NU. Among other areas of cooperation, the MoU will benefit the university through ACCA’s research and insights, scholarships, career advisory services, and networking forums. BS (A&F) graduates will be able to avail exemptions and add ACCA as a specialized qualification along with their bachelor’s degree. The Director and Head, FAST School of Management, Lahore campus, expressed their special gratitude to the top management of FAST-NU, especially the Rector, Dr. Amir Muhammed for patronizing the effort tosign this MoU.
