Mary Sully de Luque, Associate Professor of Global Leadership and Academic Director of the Masters of Global Management program in Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University, delivered a lecture covering the topics of entrepreneurship and global leadership, on February 7th, 2018 in Islamabad campus. She elaborated on the entrepreneurial pursuits increasing important phenomenon in the global economy. She particularly encouraged women entrepreneurship. She shared the details of the online training program for entrepreneurs (DreamBuilder.org), and encouraged students to use this free online program for making business plans, and to assess their own strengths as entrepreneurs. She also shared her experience that has been conducted for over the last 20 years on the GLOBE project (globeproject.com) which compares leadership and culture around the world. She appreciated the work by Dr. Sadia Nadeem on the GLOBE project in Pakistan, and recommended the reading of her recent article co-authored with her on Pakistani culture. She concluded with a list of tips for students to develop themselves as leaders.
