Non-Faculty Position in Lahore Campus

LIBRARIAN

An experienced and enthusiastic library professional is required to provide reference and research services and assist in technical processing of material. To support reference service, the incumbent would also produce flyers/posters/brochures and develop Lib-guides and library portal.

Qualification and Experience
Masters in Library and Information Sciences (MLIS) from a reputable University, plus at least SEVEN years post-MLIS relevant experience, preferably in an academic setup.
Must have knowledge of Integrated Library Systems, MARC, RDA, AACR-II, LCSH, and Institutional repositories and Library guides. Applicant should have knowledge of library procedures, electronic resources and databases. Must have the ability to work independently and also as part of a team. Must possess excellent communication/customer care skills and sound managerial skills.
