Ms. Fatima tul Zahra


Ms Fatima-Tul-Zahra is an ardent researcher in Corpus Linguistics, English Language Teaching and Critical Discourse Analysis. Her MPhil thesis explores the language of online university prospectus of different cultures as a register in connection with the third dimension of Douglas Bibber’s model of Multidimensional Analysis (MD), i.e. Explicit Versus Situation Dependent Reference. Her ongoing research projects aim to explore ESL learner problems in language acquisition and processing. Her other areas of interest include phonetics, stylistics, language and gender, with a particular focus on Critical Discourse Analysis, and Corpus Linguistics. She is currently exploring ESP and its scope with her CS and BBA students.
